Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Foundry Operations:

Manage and supervise all foundry activities including melting, moulding, and casting processes. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards in foundry operations.

Forging & Heat Treatment:

Oversee forging processes and implement effective heat treatment cycles to meet metallurgical specifications. Troubleshoot and optimize thermal processes for improved material performance.

Process Control & Improvement:

Implement and maintain robust process control systems across production lines. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Metallurgical Analysis:

Operate and interpret results from spectrometer equipment for chemical composition analysis. Conduct micro and macro structural observations to validate metallurgical integrity and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

DME, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in foundry operations, forging, and heat treatment processes. Strong knowledge of process control systems and lean manufacturing principles. Hands-on experience with spectrographic analysis and metallurgical microscopy. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

3 +years in foundry Related role. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment
Exposure to ISO/TS quality standards and safety management systems.

Work Environment

Foundry floor and production areas with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production.
