Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To ensure uninterrupted foundry operations by maintaining all plant equipment, utilities, and facilities in safe and optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

of foundry equipment. Maintain

induction furnaces, molding lines, sand plants, shot blasting machines, cranes, compressors, and heat-treatment furnaces

. Ensure proper functioning of

electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

. Plan and monitor

preventive maintenance schedules

and statutory inspections. Identify root causes of failures and implement

corrective and preventive actions

. Manage

spare parts inventory

and coordinate with vendors and service providers. Ensure compliance with

safety standards

, SOPs, and legal requirements. Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability. Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and improvement logs.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / BE / BTech in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering

.

3-8 years

of maintenance experience in a

foundry or heavy engineering industry

. Hands-on experience with

furnace maintenance and foundry machinery

preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of

TPM, 5S, and CMMS

. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns. Good coordination and communication skills.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
