Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical testing of castings - hardness, microstructure, and strength. Perform chemical testing through wet analysis and spectrometer. Carry out sand testing and monitor sand quality parameters. Maintain all lab records, documentation, and test reports. Ensure calibration of lab instruments and maintain calibration records. Coordinate with production/quality teams for timely test results.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry. Strong hands-on knowledge of hardness testing, microstructure analysis, tensile/strength testing, and spectrometer operations. Experience in sand testing and understanding of key sand parameters and control. Ability to prepare accurate test reports and maintain all laboratory and calibration records. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, disciplined work approach, and good computer proficiency (Excel, documentation, report formats)
