Founding Team Position - Operations We are actively seeking a potential Founding Team in Operations to join our team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for a visionary individual who is not only proficient in technology and app development but also deeply passionate about revolutionizing the realm of Retail Tech/Social Commerce through innovative solutions. Our startup is building an AI-driven retail Tech/Social Commerce Marketplace where we help local independent merchants boost sales and solve their customer acquisition problems in a unique and engaging way. At its core, our mission is to craft a novel user experience that thrives on social interaction, group-based transactions, and product transparency. The MVP prototype has been soft-launched as an invite-only Public Beta, gaining traction among our core customers and driving revenue. In the current phase, we are dedicated to working on customer feedback and insights to further improve our platform. Position Overview: Are you a dynamic and hands-on leader with a passion for operations and logistics Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are you ready to roll up your sleeves to build something incredible from the ground up If so, we want you to be a part of our founding team as the Head of Operations. Key Responsibilities: As a key member of our founding team, you will: Design and Implement Operations Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy that ensures efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery services within our hyperlocal market. Team Building: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain optimization to ensure product availability and on-time deliveries. Logistics Optimization: Optimize the last-mile delivery process, including route planning, vehicle fleet management, and delivery personnel scheduling. Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms and agreements. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, health, and environmental standards. NOTE: The company is based in Bangalore so, preference will be for the candidates who are based in Bangalore and have the necessary skills.
