Role Overview
The Founding Partner will act as the
first employee and core stakeholder
, responsible for building the venture
from zero to scale
. This role demands complete ownership of
operations, training quality, internships, placements, team building, and revenue growth
.
This is
not an academic or trainer-only role
. It is a
business-building leadership position
with direct accountability for outcomes.
Key Responsibilities1. Venture Setup & Scale
Build the complete operational framework from scratch
Design scalable systems for training, internships, and placements
Convert vision into executable processes and SOPs
Ensure revenue sustainability from early stages
2. Program & Curriculum Ownership
Design job-oriented curricula for IT, Non-IT, and Medical verticals
Align programs strictly with industry requirements
Ensure every program includes practical work and internship outcomes
Continuously upgrade offerings based on placement feedback
3. Internship & Placement Leadership
Build and manage internship pipelines (in-house & external)
Establish and maintain employer, hospital, and corporate partnerships
Lead placement drives and ensure measurable placement outcomes
Track and report placement performance transparently
4. Team Building & Leadership
Hire, train, and manage trainers, counselors, and placement staff
Create a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs
Mentor teams to operate independently at scale
5. Admissions, Marketing & Revenue
Oversee student acquisition strategies (digital & offline)
Ensure ethical admissions and realistic student counseling
Drive batch profitability and revenue growth
Monitor CAC, conversion ratios, and operational margins
6. Stakeholder Accountability
Act as a business stakeholder, not just an employee
Participate in strategic decisions and long-term planning
Protect brand reputation and delivery quality
Work closely with promoters to scale regionally
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum
10+ years of proven experience
in one or more of the following:
Skill training institutes
Placement agencies
EdTech startups
Corporate L&D
Hospital training / allied health education
Demonstrated
zero-to-growth experience
(mandatory)
Strong exposure to
placements, internships, and employer relations
Operational leadership and team-building experience
Deep understanding of Kerala student ecosystem
