Founding Engineer (Full-Stack - Go, Typescript, Node.js)

Own end-to-end delivery of a regulated financial product: system architecture, core implementation, third-party integrations, security controls, deployment, and ongoing operations.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and operate production backend services in

Go

and

TypeScript/Node.js

, and a modern

TypeScript-based web frontend

. Architect secure systems for

PII handling

,

access control

,

audit logging

, and

data retention

in a regulated environment. Integrate and operate

financial and commerce APIs

and vendor webhooks, with strong guarantees around

idempotency, retries, reconciliation, and failure recovery

. Build workflows influenced by

KYC/AML and risk signals

, working closely with compliance vendors and stakeholders. Establish engineering standards across

code quality, testing, reviews, releases, and documentation

. Own production reliability: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational hygiene.
Must-Have Qualifications

2+ years building and operating

production software

; early-stage or startup experience strongly preferred. Deep backend experience in

Go

and

TypeScript/Node.js

. Strong hands-on experience with

PostgreSQL

,

Prisma

, and

event-driven systems / queues

. Experience designing or operating

workflow orchestration systems

(e.g., Temporal or equivalent). Proven ability to

ship a full product to production

: backend, frontend, and infrastructure. Demonstrated

security maturity

: secure auth/session design, least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, rate limiting, and abuse prevention. Experience integrating

reliability-critical external APIs

(payments, banking, identity, or commerce platforms). Comfort working with

regulated data

: auditability, logging discipline, and data-integrity rigor. Clear written and verbal communication; able to drive ambiguous problems to execution independently.
Nice-to-Have

Prior

FinTech

experience (KYC/AML, payments, fraud/risk vendors, financial data aggregators). Exposure to

compliance and security readiness

(SOC 2 practices, vendor risk reviews, production hardening).

Pay: ₹11,675.72 - ₹90,801.13 per month
