The first tool that we have created is an online material library for Architects, Interior Designers and 3D visualizers where they can discover materials from 500+ brands and 2.5 Lakh+ textures. About the Job
We are looking for an excellent, self driven and motivated Business Development Associate to join our team at Material Depot. You will be the person who initiates reach outs and handles inbound enquiries regarding all things Material Depot. If you're someone who has an itch for Business Strategies, can come up with brilliant outreach ideas, and independently implement them, you're the right match.
Responsibilities

  • Onboard Architecture, Interior Design Studios, Institutions and Coaching institutes on the platform
  • Building and expanding long-term and high impact relationships
  • Ensuring new and repeat business from advertisers/clients
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in building win-based proposals and pricing
  • Work closely with Founders on special projects - strategize, execute and run it to success and then think on scaling it.
  • Discovering and implementing new ideas and techniques to solve issues that come up and handling any hiccups that come along the way.
  • Working on the management of tasks of the firm from conception to delivery
  • Design & support founders internal & external communications, coordinating the company-wide goals process, supporting PR and external reach-outs, etc.
  • Collaborate ideas with the team and the Co-founders.
  • Display a systemic approach to handling meaningful contract negotiations/deals with multiple clients at a time
Requirements
  • Prior experience of working in Business centric roles.
  • Experience conducting outreach campaigns (e.g. linkedin reachouts, cold calling, in person meetings, walk ins. etc.)
  • Hands-on experience of working with sales (B2B and B2C) is preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work as a part of a tight-knit team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word).
  • This is an on field role - you will be required to travel to various offices as per need to create strong and lasting business relationships.

  • Good at executing ideas as well as coming up with them, and someone who thrives in and builds through chaos, action and a fast-paced start-up vibe. Someone who wants to build something at scale
