JOB - Head of Operations & Product (Founders Role)
Salary- 2lac + ESOPs
Equity: ESOPs offered
Reports To: Founder/CEO
Location: Surat, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-time, Founding Role
This founding role requires someone who can manage
operational excellence while simultaneously owning product strategy and user
experience. You will be integral to building operational infrastructure and
product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
? Define and implement operational processes, systems, and best practices
? Build an operational team and establish operational functions (finance, HR,
legal, compliance)
? Develop and manage operational budget and financial planning
? Establish KPIs and dashboards for operational metrics
? Lead product roadmap development and prioritisation
? Conduct user research and translate insights into product features
? Manage product lifecycle from conception through launch and iteration
? Oversee vendor management, contracts, and partnerships
? Ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements
? Manage office infrastructure, technology, and resource allocation
? Build scalable processes that support 10x growth
? Collaborate with all departments to streamline cross-functional workflows
? Lead fundraising support and investor communications
? Represent Soulera at industry events and forums
Required Qualifications
? 10+ years of experience with a combination of operations, product, and
strategy roles
? Minimum 5+ years in a founding/early-stage company environment
? Strong background in business operations, process optimisation, and system
design
? Experience with product management and user-centric design
? Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and business metrics
? Excellent project management and execution capabilities
? Strong leadership and team-building skills
? Ability to manage ambiguity and wear multiple hats
? Exceptional organisational and communication skills
? Track record of scaling organisations from early stage to growth phase
Preferred Qualifications
? Background in technology, SaaS, or e-commerce companies
? Experience in the Indian startup ecosystem
? Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data protection
? Familiarity with fundraising and investor relations
? Experience with operational financial systems and analytics
? Previous founder or co-founder experience
? Understanding of supply chain or logistics operations
