Job Opportunity - Executive: Formulation Development (Solid Oral Dosage Forms)

Qualification: M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled formulation scientist to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the development of sustained release, controlled release, and prolonged release oral solid dosage forms and will be responsible for independently managing formulation development projects from conceptualization to technology transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

Design product development strategies based on literature survey and innovator/RLD characterization.

Conduct reformulation studies and reverse engineering of RLD products.

Handle formulation development, process development, and scale-up activities.

Execute and compile prototype and process optimization batches.

Prepare and review regulatory-compliant documentation (BOM, MFR, SOPs, stability protocols/reports, PDRs, validation protocols/reports, etc.).

Coordinate with cross-functional departments including production, QA, and regulatory for project execution.

Execute technology transfer activities at manufacturing sites.

Manage day-to-day project tracking and ensure timely completion.

Operate and troubleshoot lab-scale equipment like RMG, FBP, compression machine, coating machine, roller compactor, etc.


Required Skills:

In-depth knowledge of sustained/controlled release dosage forms and relevant polymers (e.g., methacrylate co-polymers).

Expertise in solid oral dosage forms for both domestic and ROW markets.

Strong communication and presentation abilities.

High level of integrity, accountability, and long-term commitment.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
