Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack raw materials, finished goods, and pallets.

Transport materials between warehouse, production, and dispatch areas as per instructions.

Ensure correct placement and stacking of materials to avoid damage.

Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues immediately.

Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and company policies while operating equipment.

Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and containers.

Maintain records of material movement if required.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Support warehouse and production teams during peak operations.

Comply with statutory and safety requirements (PPE usage, safety drills, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 8th / 10th pass (preferred).

Valid Forklift Driving License / Certification (mandatory).

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a forklift operator (preferred).

Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.

Ability to work in shifts and handle physical work.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move materials as required.

Good hand-eye coordination and alertness.

Ability to work standing for long hours.
