Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Forescout NAC Engineer / Network Security SME

with a strong background in IT Service Management and Network Access Control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting Forescout NAC solutions, ensuring network security compliance, and driving process improvements across IT infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and manage

Forescout NAC

for policy enforcement, compliance, and access control. Perform

NAC performance monitoring

, manage system health, and handle proactive alarm and event management. Troubleshoot and remediate complex

NAC issues

, including posture failures, server problems, and enforcement issues; provide detailed RCA documentation. Support configuration deployments, policy enforcements, upgrades, and migrations. Manage the

Forescout Policy Engine

- compliance, device roles, and segmentation. Configure and integrate network elements (Switches, WLCs, VMs) using

SNMP, SSH, and API

. Manage

Certificate/802.1X integrations

and guest access portals. Add, remove, and troubleshoot network elements within the NAC ecosystem. Conduct

NAC policy audits

, activation, and remediation activities. Support automation initiatives related to NAC monitoring and enforcement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network Engineers, Security Analysts, System Administrators) to resolve NAC-related issues. Create and maintain

technical documentation

, as-built diagrams, and SOPs/Runbooks. Participate in

incident, problem, change, and vendor management

processes. Provide design reviews, policy governance, and advisory input for NAC and network security. Handle

high-severity incident management

and escalation oversight. Perform enhancements to existing reporting and ITSM processes based on operational feedback. Ensure

business alignment and stakeholder coordination

for NAC-related projects.

Required Technical Skills

Minimum

5+ years

of experience in IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change, Vendor Management).

Forescout Certified Professional (FSCP)

certification or equivalent accreditation (mandatory).

CCNA certification

(CCNP certification or training preferred). Hands-on experience with

Forescout (Enterprise Manager & Appliances)

. Proficient with

Broadcom Spectrum

or similar monitoring tools. Working knowledge of tools such as:

Splunk, Essas, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, Netrequest, CyberArk, Dx NetOps, Ansible, SPDW, MS Office, ServiceNow, Jira.

Strong knowledge of

network security, threat detection, and risk mitigation

practices. In-depth understanding of

ITIL practices

. Experience managing and troubleshooting

Cisco and other OEM network devices

(Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers, Firewalls, ACI Fabrics, etc.). Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and deep diagnostics for NAC issues. Experience in designing and optimizing classification rules, plugins, and remediation workflows.

Academic Qualification

BE/B.Tech

from a reputed university or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to large-scale enterprise NAC deployments. Experience in automation or scripting for NAC operations. Prior experience collaborating with global teams or stakeholders.
