Job Description

A Foreman, often referred to as a Construction Foreman, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team on a construction site. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications, while also managing the team's safety and quality of work.
Key Responsibilities of a Foreman:

• Team Management: Supervising and directing a team of construction workers, including delegating tasks and providing guidance.

• Project Oversight: Monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

• Safety: Ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and regulations, and providing necessary training.

• Communication: Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

• Budget Management: Tracking project costs and ensuring they remain within budget.

• Scheduling: Creating and managing schedules for the crew and monitoring attendance.

• Quality Control: Overseeing the quality of work and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

• Resource Management: Overseeing the use of machinery, equipment, and materials.

• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise on the job site.

• Training: Training new workers and providing ongoing mentorship to the team.
