Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on

Mechanical Maintenance Foreman

with

10-11 years of experience

in the

steel industry

, preferably in pipe manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading mechanical maintenance teams and should have in-depth working knowledge of

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

. This role is key to ensuring reliable equipment operation, minimizing downtime, and maintaining production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of mechanical technicians and fitters to carry out day-to-day preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks. Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of rolling mills, pipe mills, slitting machines, straighteners, and other heavy mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

, including valves, pumps, cylinders, compressors, and actuators. Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities to ensure timely execution with minimal production disruption. Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance work, downtime logs, and spare parts usage. Identify potential mechanical failures before they occur.

Qualifications and Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 10-11 years of relevant experience in

mechanical maintenance

in the

steel industry

--preferably in

pipe manufacturing plants

. Strong working knowledge of

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

used in industrial machinery. Practical experience in the maintenance of heavy equipment such as rolling mills, forming machines, and conveyors.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
