Job Title: Quality Control Executive

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Qualification: B.tech in Food Technology or related field

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Executive will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality standards of raw materials, in-process, and finished food products in the FMCG production unit. The role ensures that all products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards for safety, hygiene, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular sampling and testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP).

Maintain quality records, test reports, and documentation as per SOPs.

Check packaging, labeling, and batch coding for accuracy and compliance.

Inspect hygiene and sanitation conditions across production, storage, and dispatch areas.

Coordinate with production, purchase, and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations.

Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab instruments and equipment.

Assist in implementing quality improvement and cost-control measures.

Support audits (internal/external, FSSAI, etc.) and ensure compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems.

Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP.

Analytical skills for product testing and process evaluation.

Good communication and reporting abilities.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
