Job Description

The Food technologist will oversee and optimize the processing of organic commodities using technology and food science principles. The role involves ensuring product quality, maintaining compliance with organic standards, improving processing methods, and supporting new product development activities.

Key Responsibilities



1. Supervise and monitor daily processing operations for organic commodities (cleaning, drying, milling, grading, packaging).

2. Apply food technology concepts to enhance product quality, safety, and shelf life.

3. Conduct quality checks of raw materials and finished goods as per NPOP/NOP/FSSAI standards.

4. Ensure hygiene, sanitation, GMP, and GHP practices are strictly followed in the processing area.

5. Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documentation, batch records, and quality logs.

6. Identify process issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

7. Coordinate with certification, procurement, lab, and operations teams.

8. Support new product development, pilot batches, and process optimization projects.

9. Ensure equipment maintenance, calibration, and process controls are followed consistently.

10. Maintain compliance for audits--NPOP, NOP, FSSAI, ISO, APEDA.

11. Promote sustainability and organic integrity throughout processing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
