We are seeking a skilled Food Science Intern to contribute to the development, production, and improvement of our food products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and development of new food products, from concept to commercialisation.
Optimise existing food formulations to improve taste, texture, and nutritional value.
Ensure product compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
Investigate food-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research and development activities.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production, marketing, and sales.
Stay updated on food industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
