: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in any of the following:
B.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology or Chemistry
Any Food related course
Hotel Management (with Food Safety focus)
Diploma in Food Safety or Industrial Hygiene
Any FSSAI-recognized Food Safety Training certification is a plus
Experience Required
: 0-2 years (Freshers can also be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure compliance with daily food safety and hygiene standards in kitchen and service areas.
Conduct regular internal audits and hygiene inspections as per company SOPs.
Maintain and update food safety checklists and records.
Supervise receiving, handling, storage, and processing of raw and cooked food.
Ensure proper temperature control, labeling, and FIFO practices are followed.
Identify and report food safety issues or deviations, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Conduct staff training sessions on hygiene practices, personal hygiene, food handling, and cleaning procedures -- with special focus on delivering training in Hindi.
Monitor chemical usage, pest control, sanitation schedules, and waste management practices.
Work closely with kitchen and outlet teams to ensure smooth implementation of food safety protocols.
Preferred Languages:
Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
Must be able to communicate in Hindi.
