The Food & Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards across all departments. This role ensures compliance with local food safety laws, HACCP, and company policies to safeguard customer health and maintain product quality.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all
food safety regulations, HACCP, ISO standards, and local authority requirements
.
Conduct
regular inspections
of food handling, storage, preparation, and display areas to ensure hygiene and safety.
Monitor
expiry dates, temperature controls, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
across all departments.
Investigate and report any
food safety incidents, contamination risks, or non-compliance issues
.
Train staff on
food safety practices, personal hygiene, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure
quality and safety of delivered products
.
Maintain accurate
records, audits, and reports
related to food safety checks and corrective actions.
Work closely with management to
implement improvements and corrective measures
.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in
Food Technology, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field
.
Minimum
2-4 years of experience
in food safety/quality control (preferably in retail, supermarket, or hospitality industry).
Knowledge of
HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and local food safety laws
.
Good communication and leadership skills for
training and guiding staff
.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
