Conduct food safety audits and assessments in food production, processing, and distribution facilities.
Develop, implement, and monitor food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS).
Advise on compliance with local, national, and international food safety standards and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, FDA, EU, Codex Alimentarius).
Identify food safety risks and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures.
Provide on-site and virtual training for staff on food safety practices, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
Assist in preparing for third-party audits and certification processes.
Support the design and implementation of traceability, recall, and allergen control programs.
Develop SOPs, sanitation plans, and documentation protocols.
Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and legislative changes related to food safety.
