We are looking for a Food Safety Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring food safety, hygiene, and compliance with FSSAI norms across food establishments. The candidate must be willing to travel across India for FoSTaC/FSSAI training and field assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct food safety & hygiene inspections at food establishments
Ensure compliance with FSSAI standards, Schedule 4, GMP & GHP
Assist in food safety audits and documentation (FSMS, HACCP, etc.)
Support food safety training programs under FoSTaC
Prepare inspection and compliance reports
Guide food handlers on hygiene and safety practices
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
Graduate in Science (Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology / Chemistry / Biology or related subjects) with minimum 3 years experience in Food Safety & Hygiene (FSMS, HACCP, GMP, GHP)
Graduate from other subjects with minimum 5 years experience in Food Safety & Hygiene (FSMS, HACCP, GMP, GHP)
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of FSSAI Act, Rules & Regulations
Good communication skills
Ready for Pan India travel for training & field work (minimum 20 days/year)
