About the Role:

Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers, Thane is looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join as a Food Production Faculty.
The ideal candidate should have strong culinary knowledge, be able to conduct both theory and practical sessions, and must have the ability to teach Bakery & Confectionery (theory and practical). Candidates with bakery expertise will be given higher preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging classroom and kitchen practical sessions in Food Production Teach fundamental and advanced culinary techniques across cuisines Deliver theory & practical teaching in Bakery & Confectionery Prepare lesson plans, recipes, teaching materials, and assessment sheets Train students in hygiene, kitchen discipline, safety, and professional etiquette Coordinate and support departmental activities, events, and student projects Assist in organizing industry visits, competitions, and exhibitions Maintain student attendance, performance records, and ensure discipline

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Food Production (mandatory) Strong foundation in culinary principles and kitchen operations Bakery & Confectionery knowledge is highly preferred Freshers with strong culinary and bakery skills are welcome Good communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities Passion for teaching and shaping future hospitality professionals
