to train students/trainees in food processing techniques, safety standards, and industry best practices. The trainer will be responsible for delivering theory and practical sessions, ensuring learners gain hands-on skills and knowledge to meet industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on food processing, preservation, packaging, and quality control.
Develop training content, lesson plans, and hands-on exercises as per the prescribed syllabus.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, etc.) during training.
Guide trainees on the use of food processing equipment and machinery.
Assess trainees' performance through assignments, practicals, and evaluations.
Maintain training records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Support learners with career guidance and industry insights.
Ensure workplace hygiene, safety, and compliance during training sessions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree .
Minimum 2-3 years of industry or teaching experience in food processing.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and processing techniques.
Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to handle lab equipment, processing machinery, and demonstration tools.
Preferred:
Experience in NSDC/Skill Development training projects.
