Conduct analysis, testing, and quality evaluation of food colors (Synthetic/Natural).
Perform color matching, shade development, and formulation of food-grade colorants.
Ensure all products comply with FSSAI, FDA, and regulatory standards.
Maintain QC/QA documentation, COA, batch records, and test reports.
Monitor raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Handle instruments such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, pH meter, Moisture analyzer, etc.
Support R&D team in new product development and process improvement.
Identify non-conformities and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
Maintain laboratory safety, hygiene, and calibration standards.
Required Qualifications:
B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
2-7 years of experience in food color, dyes, pigments, or food additive industry.
Strong understanding of food color chemistry and analytical methods.
Skills Required:
Expertise in wet chemistry & analytical testing.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance (FSSAI / FDA).
Good documentation & reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and in coordination with production/QC teams.
