Role Overview
The
F&B Manager
will oversee and manage all Food & Beverage operations at the Pondicherry property. The role involves leading dining experiences across outlets, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and maintaining CGH Earth's standards of sustainability and service.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence
Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banqueting (if applicable).
Ensure smooth coordination between service and culinary teams for seamless guest experiences.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, service, and ambiance in all F&B areas.
Implement and monitor SOPs for service excellence.
Guest Experience & Service
Anticipate and exceed guest expectations by delivering personalized and memorable dining experiences.
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and suggestions promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with chefs to design unique dining events, promotions, and experiences inspired by local culture.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to consistently deliver high-quality service.
Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and ensure succession planning.
Build a culture of responsibility, teamwork, and respect for CGH Earth's values.
Financial & Business Management
Monitor F&B revenue, costs, and profitability while ensuring operational efficiency.
Implement effective cost control measures, inventory management, and wastage reduction.
Work closely with the GM to design strategies for revenue growth and guest engagement.
Sustainability & Community Engagement
Promote sustainable practices such as minimal waste, use of local and seasonal produce, and eco-friendly operations.
Collaborate with local vendors and communities to enhance authenticity in offerings.
Drive initiatives that reflect CGH Earth's commitment to responsible hospitality.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or F&B Management.
8-10 years of progressive F&B experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role in a boutique/luxury hotel or resort.
Strong operational knowledge of F&B service, bar management, and banqueting.
Proven ability in guest engagement, service training, and team development.
Sound knowledge of F&B cost control, revenue management, and sustainability practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
