The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience while maintaining service standards, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating
Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes and beverages
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
Ensure table setup, cleanliness, and proper presentation at all times
Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints courteously
Follow hygiene, safety, and service SOPs strictly
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth operations
Assist in billing, cash handling, and POS operations when required
Upsell menu items and promote specials
Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude
Requirements & Skills
Prior experience in food & beverage service preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused mindset
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards
Team player with a willingness to learn
Education
Minimum: High school / Diploma
Hotel Management background is an added advantage
