Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer guest queries.
Take accurate food and beverage orders.
Serve orders promptly and correctly.
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Handle guest complaints politely and inform the supervisor when needed.
Operational Tasks
Set up tables with cutlery, glasses, and other dining essentials.
Maintain cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas.
Refill water, beverages, and condiments as required.
Clear tables efficiently after guests leave.
Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Teamwork
Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery.
Work closely with other servers, hosts, and support staff.
Help team members during busy hours.
Billing & Payment
Present bills to guests and handle payments accurately.
Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
Use POS systems for billing.
