Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items, including daily specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
Serve orders efficiently and ensure guests' satisfaction throughout their meal
Check on customers regularly and promptly respond to their requests
Process bills and handle payment transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service
Upsell additional products when appropriate (e.g. drinks, desserts)
Requirements:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and experience handling cash or point-of-sale systems
A team player with a customer-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Food handler certification (if required by local laws)
