Deliver meals to patient rooms accurately and on time
Assist patients with feeding when required (as per policy)
Collect meal trays and ensure proper cleaning and disposal
Food Preparation & Service
Assist in basic food preparation under dietitians or chefs
Maintain portion control and presentation standards
Ensure food is served at correct temperatures
Hygiene & Safety
Follow
hospital infection control
, food safety, and HACCP guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and service areas
Proper handling and storage of food and beverages
Use PPE (gloves, masks, hairnets) as required
Inventory & Support
Assist in stock checking and storage of food supplies
Report shortages or damaged items
Support catering services for hospital events or staff meals
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and kitchen staff
Respond politely to patient feedback and special requests
Maintain accurate meal records where required
