What this job involves:
As a Food and Beverage Manager at JLL, you'll orchestrate comprehensive dining experiences across our diverse portfolio of commercial properties, directly impacting tenant satisfaction and property value. This role places you at the intersection of hospitality excellence and real estate strategy, where you'll manage multi-million dollar F&B operations while fostering environments that strengthen community connections within our buildings. You'll collaborate with property management teams, retail partners, and corporate clients to deliver innovative dining solutions that drive measurable increases in tenant retention and property NOI.
What your day-to-day will look like:

• Oversee daily operations of 3-8 food service venues across assigned properties, ensuring consistent quality standards and managing annual revenues of $2-5M per location o Develop and execute strategic F&B programming that enhances tenant experience, including pop-up markets, corporate catering services, and community dining events o Negotiate and manage vendor relationships with restaurants, caterers, and specialty food providers while maintaining profit margins of 15-25% o Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to optimize menu offerings and service delivery, presenting quarterly performance reports to property stakeholders o Lead cross-functional teams of 15-30 F&B staff, providing ongoing training on customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and JLL brand standards o Coordinate with building engineering and security teams to ensure seamless integration of F&B operations within overall property management systems o Plan and execute large-scale corporate events and tenant appreciation programs serving 200-1,000+ attendees while managing budgets up to $50K per event o Conduct regular property walkthroughs and tenant surveys to identify opportunities for service enhancement and space optimization

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of progressive F&B management experience o Proven track record managing multi-unit food service operations with annual revenues exceeding $3M across commercial or mixed-use properties o Current ServSafe Manager Certification and thorough knowledge of health department regulations, food safety protocols, and commercial kitchen operations o Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budget development, vendor negotiations, and cost control strategies o Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain high-performing teams in fast-paced environments o Advanced proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis o Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with C-suite executives, property managers, and frontline staff o Physical ability to work in commercial kitchen environments, lift up to 40 pounds, and maintain flexible schedules including evenings and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Hospitality Management, MBA, or relevant advanced certification such as Certified Food and Beverage Executive (CFBE) o 8+ years of experience specifically within corporate dining, commercial real estate F&B, or high-volume contract food services o Experience with sustainable food sourcing, wellness-focused menu development, and dietary accommodation programs for diverse corporate environments o Bilingual capabilities in markets with significant non-English speaking populations, particularly Spanish or Mandarin o Background in event planning and corporate catering with demonstrated success managing budgets exceeding $100K annually o Familiarity with property management software platforms and integration of F&B operations within comprehensive building management systems
