The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in all areas of food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements.
Present menu, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure timely service.
Serve food and drinks according to service standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service counters.
Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service.
Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Assist in setting up buffets, banquets, and special events when required.
Follow all hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain grooming standards and follow departmental SOPs.
Upsell food and beverage items to enhance revenue.
Participate in training sessions and contribute to team improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management.
Prior experience in F&B service (restaurant, banquet, or room service) preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, team player, and guest service-oriented.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures is an advantage.
