Job Summary
We are looking for a warm, energetic, and guest-focused
Food & Beverage Associate
to join our team at our European bistro. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in premium casual or European dining environments, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role is responsible for providing attentive service, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Guest Experience
Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring thorough knowledge of the menu and specials.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards.
Maintain tables, service stations, and the overall cleanliness of the dining area.
Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly.
Operational Support
Assist with setting up the restaurant for service, including table settings and mise en place.
Follow service sequences and support smooth operations during peak hours.
Assist in closing duties, including cleaning, resetting tables, and preparing for the next shift.
Help with basic inventory tasks such as restocking cutlery, glassware, and condiments.
Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Communicate guest requests or concerns to supervisors or managers as needed.
Participate in pre-service briefings to stay updated on menu changes and daily specials.
Hospitality Standards
Adhere to grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards.
Maintain a polite, professional, and service-oriented approach at all times.
Follow restaurant policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience
in a service role within a restaurant or premium dining environment.
1+ years of overall experience
in the F&B industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for hospitality with a positive, guest-first attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
Understanding of basic service etiquette and restaurant operations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
Experience in European or bistro-style dining.
Basic knowledge of wines and European cuisine.
