Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate
Commis Chef
to join our culinary team at the
Inej Executive Lounge, Chennai
. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of food preparation, hygiene standards, and the ability to deliver consistent quality in a premium hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation and production.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
Support in managing kitchen inventory and storage.
Ensure timely preparation and service during operational hours.
Work collaboratively with service teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance of dishes.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management.
1-3 years of experience as Commis Chef in a lounge, hotel, or restaurant setup.
Knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisine preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
