The Food & Beverage Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests by assisting in the preparation, service, and clearing of food and beverages. The role ensures a pleasant dining experience by maintaining service standards, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up tables, service stations, and dining areas before service
Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously
Take guest orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar
Ensure cleanliness and proper hygiene of dining areas, utensils, and equipment
Clear tables and reset them according to service standards
Handle guest queries and requests in a polite and professional manner
Follow food safety, hygiene, and service guidelines at all times
Support senior staff during peak hours and special events
Ensure compliance with company policies and service procedures
Skills & Competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused attitude
Ability to work in a team
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass (preferred)
Certificate or diploma in Hotel Management / F&B Service is an advantage
Experience:
Freshers may apply
0-2 years of experience in hospitality or food service preferred
