The Food and Beverage Executive will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the resort's food and beverage outlets. This role involves managing staff, ensuring the highest standards of food and service quality, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Oversee the daily operations of the resort's dining outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operation, consistent food quality, and adherence to service standards.
Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet guest demand.
Team Management:
Supervise and support F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to service protocols.
Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling staff, ensuring a well-trained and motivated team.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
Guest Service Excellence:
Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing and resolving guest complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
Monitor guest interactions and service quality to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience.
Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty, including special promotions and personalized service.
Menu and Beverage Management:
Collaborate with chefs and beverage managers to develop and update menus, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Stay informed about current food and beverage trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the menu offerings.
Financial Management:
Assist in preparing and managing the F&B budget, including tracking revenue, controlling expenses, and analyzing financial performance.
Review sales reports and financial statements to identify trends and opportunities for increasing revenue and profitability.
Implement cost control measures and monitor financial performance to achieve departmental goals.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards.
Conduct regular inspections of F&B areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Train staff on health and safety procedures and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably within a resort or luxury hotel setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, and financial controls.
Outstanding guest service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Proficiency in food and beverage management software and basic office applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints and operational issues with professionalism.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the resort's operational needs.
