Job Description

FMCG Store Supervisor - Roles & Responsibilities1. Store Operations



Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations Open and close the store as per schedule Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper store layout Ensure product display as per planogram and company standards

2. Inventory & Stock Management



Monitor stock levels and avoid stock-out / over-stock Coordinate with warehouse for inward and outward stock Verify GRN, invoices, and delivery challans Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock counts Control damages, expiry, and shrinkage

3. Sales & Customer Service



Ensure excellent customer service at all times Handle customer complaints and resolve issues politely Support staff in achieving daily and monthly sales targets Promote offers, schemes, and new product launches

4. Staff Supervision



Supervise sales boys, cashiers, and helpers Assign duties and shifts to staff Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline Train staff on product knowledge and sales techniques

5. Billing & Cash Handling



Supervise billing counters and cash handling Ensure correct billing and pricing Verify daily cash, UPI, card collections, and reports Report any cash shortage or excess immediately

6. Merchandising & Promotions



Ensure proper shelf filling and FIFO / FEFO practices Implement promotional displays and offers correctly Coordinate with suppliers for visibility and branding

7. Reporting & Documentation



Prepare daily sales reports and stock reports Submit reports to Store Manager / Area Manager / MD Maintain records for GRN, damages, expiry, and returns

8. Compliance & Safety



Follow company SOPs and statutory requirements Ensure safety of staff, customers, and store assets Prevent pilferage and theft

9. Vendor & Supplier Coordination



Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery Follow up on pending orders and returns

Key Skills Required



Leadership & team management Inventory control knowledge Customer handling skills Basic computer & billing software knowledge FMCG product understanding

GoFrugal Software Knowledge (Mandatory / Preferred)



GoFrugal POS software-? daily operations-???? use pannum knowledge Billing (Cash / Card / UPI), invoice & returns handling GRN entry, purchase entry & stock inward posting Stock checking, inventory adjustment & reports generation Offers, MRP updates & price changes handling Sales report, stock report, expiry & damage report extract pannum ability Basic troubleshooting & coordination with GoFrugal support team
