About the Internship

We are looking for a passionate and motivated

Python/Django Backend Developer Intern

to join our team for a School Management System project. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience working on a real-world Django application.

You will collaborate with a small development team and contribute to important modules such as user registration, role-based access, student/teacher/parent management, academic features, and more.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing Django models, APIs, and views Implement authentication and role-based access for multiple user types (student, teacher, parent, etc.) Work on database relationships, serializers, and admin customizations Collaborate with the Flutter frontend team for API integration Debug and test APIs using Postman or Thunder Client Write clean, maintainable code following best practices Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Requirements

Solid understanding of Python and Django Familiarity with Django REST Framework Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) Experience with Git version control Strong willingness to learn and contribute Good communication and time-management skills

Good to Have

Experience with authentication (JWT/Session-based) Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, Flutter API integration) Prior experience with multi-role systems or school management projects
