About the Role

We are looking for a Flutter UI Developer who not only has strong technical and design skills but also brings an understanding or passion for Carnatic music. The ideal candidate can bridge technology and art building intuitive, elegant, and musically inspired mobile interfaces that enhance the user's creative and learning experience. This role blends modern Flutter development with a deep appreciation for classical music theory, rhythm, and user engagement in music-centric digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Flutter-based mobile applications with visually rich, music friendly UIs. Collaborate with musicologists, designers, and product teams to create interactive interfaces for music playback, notation, tala/raag visualization, and learning modules. o Translate Carnatic music theory (ragas, talas, swaras) into intuitive digital UI components and animations. Build custom widgets for audio playback controls, waveform visualizations, and rhythm counters. Ensure responsive performance and seamless user experience across iOS and Android. o Integrate APIs for audio streaming, playback, and data visualization. Implement robust state management and maintain high-quality, modular code
. o Conduct testing and debugging to ensure performance optimization for real-time audio-visual sync. Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 3-8 years of professional experience in Flutter development. Strong command of Dart, Material Design, and custom widget creation. Experience with audio frameworks and multimedia integration in Flutter (e.g., just_audio, audioplayers, ffmpeg). Familiarity with state management tools such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX. o Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows. Carnatic Music Knowledge (Required) o Foundational understanding of Carnatic music concepts -- ragas, talas, swaras, and compositions.
