Overview:
Flow Simulation Engineer - Discrete Event Simulation
Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing plant setups and propose optimal solutions to achieve target objectives.
Develop, define, and simulate models using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation / AnyLogic Simulation to enhance operational efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks, conduct iterative simulations, and optimize resource requirements using analytical data
Skilled in flexibility for model / variant mix production analysis.
Equipment losses evaluation and estimate of MTTR / MTBF.
Warehouse simulation ranges from unloading dock need, gangway feasibility, number of MHE, etc.
Qualifications:
Diploma / BE (Mechanical/Production/Automobile)
Essential skills:
Expected to have strong knowledge in car simulation tool with manufacturing, assembly line, warehouse, and logistics simulation.
Should be able to imagine the vehicle flow and perform simulation in Assembly shop and in between shop floors.
Calculation of buffers / OEE / Cycle time for Assembly shop & between shop floors in detail.
Auto CAD., MS Project.
In-depth knowledge of industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
Hands-on experience in Assembly shop practices.
Desired skills:
Ability to analyze engineering models/drawings and anticipate potential assembly issues.
Understanding of general assembly methods, machines, and part requirements.
Six Sigma certification is an added advantage.
Experience working in large matrix organizations, handling multiple tasks and interfaces effectively.
Experience:
4 to 7 years in Discrete Event Simulation
