The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high-quality service standards, and delivering customer satisfaction in line with Honda 2-Wheeler guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Operations:
Supervise day-to-day workshop activities and allocate jobs to technicians as per skills and workload.
Monitor job cards, repair orders, and ensure timely completion of service/repairs.
Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and adherence to Honda standards.
Team Supervision:
Guide, train, and monitor mechanics, helpers, and service staff.
Conduct daily briefing and ensure work is carried out efficiently.
Motivate the team to achieve service targets (productivity, quality, and delivery time).
Quality & Safety:
Ensure compliance with Honda service SOPs, tools usage, and safety standards.
Monitor repeat repairs and implement corrective measures.
Conduct quality inspections on completed jobs before final delivery.
Reporting & Administration:
Report daily workshop performance, productivity, and vehicle status to the Service Manager.
Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate with parts department.
Maintain records of service history, job completion, and technician performance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of 2-wheeler servicing (preferably Honda).
Leadership and team-handling skills.
Good communication & customer handling ability.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of workshop safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in 2-wheeler service operations (Honda experience preferred).
Prior experience in supervising workshop floor activities.
