Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily workshop activities and technician performance. Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload. Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct quality checks on completed vehicles before delivery. Ensure timely vehicle delivery as per promised time to customers. Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards. Coordinate with Service Advisors for job card preparation and progress updates. Monitor availability of spare parts and coordinate with the parts department. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment. Guide and train technicians and helpers for better productivity. Identify repeat repairs or major issues and report to the Service Manager. Ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines and warranty policies. Maintain daily service reports, productivity records, and efficiency data. Handle customer concerns related to repair quality or delays. Support the Service Manager in achieving monthly service and customer satisfaction targets.
