Job Description

An Automobile Floor Supervisor manages daily workshop activities, leading technicians, ensuring quality service/repairs, optimizing workflow, handling customer issues, maintaining discipline/safety, and managing resources to meet targets, focusing on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and process adherence (like 5S/lean). Key duties involve task allocation, performance monitoring, coaching, quality checks, inventory support, and resolving conflicts to ensure smooth, profitable operations. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Lead, coach, mentor, and manage technicians; allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.

Workflow & Quality:

Supervise daily operations, ensure timely repairs, monitor work progress, and conduct quality checks to meet standards.

Customer Satisfaction:

Resolve customer complaints, implement action plans, and ensure smooth communication with service advisors.

Operational Efficiency:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S), manage manpower, and identify bottlenecks.

Inventory & Resources:

Assist the parts manager, monitor stock, and coordinate with other departments.

Process Adherence:

Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and technical procedures.
Core Competencies & Qualifications

Technical:

Strong automotive technical knowledge (often 2-wheeler specific).

Leadership:

People management, problem-solving, decision-making, communication.

Skills:

Multi-tasking, time management, planning, organization, analytical skills.

Experience:

Supervisory experience in auto/manufacturing, relevant technical background.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Right First Time (RFT) & Right on Time (ROT) percentages. Technician productivity and bay utilization. Customer satisfaction survey ratings. Adherence to training norms and process improvements (Kaizen).

Pay: ₹10,412.35 - ₹25,317.97 per month
