Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Floor Supervisor

to oversee day-to-day workshop operations for Tata Motors Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV). The role involves supervising technicians, ensuring job quality, monitoring workflow, and maintaining high service standards to deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor workshop floor operations on a daily basis. Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians based on skills and workload. Ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining quality standards. Inspect vehicles after service/repairs to ensure adherence to Tata Motors' guidelines. Coordinate with Service Advisors to ensure proper communication with customers. Monitor productivity, efficiency, and discipline of workshop staff. Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop infrastructure. Assist in resolving technical issues and provide on-the-job guidance to technicians. Maintain compliance with safety norms and company policies. Support the Workshop Manager in achieving service targets and customer satisfaction scores.

Requirements:

Diploma/ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum

4-6 years of experience

in Automobile Service, with at least

2 years in a supervisory role

. Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle service operations. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage workforce effectively. Familiarity with DMS/ERP systems preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: As per industry standards. Additional Benefits: Incentives, Provident Fund, ESIC, and other statutory benefits.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
