Key Roles & Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Supervise, coach, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
Assign tasks, manage workloads, and monitor performance.
Handle conflict, conduct performance reviews, and foster teamwork.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily inbound/outbound goods, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Optimize warehouse layout, flow, and resource allocation.
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
Coordinate with other departments (logistics, management).
Inventory Control:
Ensure stock accuracy and proper rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
Conduct cycle counts/physical inventories and maintain records.
Monitor stock levels and manage supplies (batteries, RF units).
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Conduct safety meetings, report incidents, and ensure equipment safety checks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Performance & Efficiency:
Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for productivity.
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Generate reports on team performance, inventory, and operations.
Essential Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and supply chain basics.
Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and efficiency.
