We at ARCO Logistics Bhiwandi warehouse looking for urgent basis "Floor Supervisor" for our client Usha International at VADPE, Bhiwandi. Candidate should be 12th Pass, with at least 3-4 experience of warehouse operation. SAP/MS office is MUST. Person staying around bhiwandi, kalyan Thane, preferred. Roles and Responsibilities - Floor Supervisor (Appliances Warehouse)

1. Floor Operations Management

Supervise day-to-day warehouse floor activities ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations. Coordinate unloading, segregation, put-away, and binning of incoming goods as per SOP. Monitor loading operations ensuring correct SKU, quantity, and quality checks before dispatch. Ensure all floor operations are carried out safely and efficiently to avoid damages and delays.

2. Inventory Control & Cycle Count

Conduct daily cycle counts and support monthly/quarterly stock audits. Reconcile physical vs system stock differences and report discrepancies promptly. Coordinate with the inventory/MIS team for timely posting of transactions in WMS. Maintain zero-tolerance for stock variances through continuous monitoring and corrective actions.

3. Housekeeping & Safety Compliance

Ensure proper housekeeping and hygiene standards on the warehouse floor at all times. Implement and monitor 5S practices across assigned zones. Enforce use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines for all workers and MHE operators. Identify and report unsafe acts, near misses, and potential hazards immediately.

4. People & Resource Management

Manage and allocate manpower for unloading, loading, picking, and packing activities. Supervise labour attendance, discipline, and productivity on the floor. Coordinate with the HR or contractor team for additional manpower requirements during peak operations. Train floor staff on SOPs, handling of appliances, and safe working practices.

5. Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with warehouse manager, transport, and client teams for daily operational planning. Prepare and share daily activity reports (inbound, outbound, cycle count, etc.). Highlight operational issues and suggest process improvements.

6. Equipment & Infrastructure Monitoring

Ensure proper usage and upkeep of MHEs, tools, and safety equipment. Report maintenance needs or equipment breakdowns immediately. Monitor dock operations, lighting, and power conditions to maintain operational readiness.
