Job Summary

The Floor Officer (Non-Core Department) is responsible for supervising and maintaining smooth operations in non-core retail sections such as garments, footwear, home appliances, home decor, or accessories. The role ensures proper product display, stock availability, customer assistance, and support to achieve department sales and service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day activities on the retail floor for the assigned non-core department. Ensure merchandise is well-arranged, properly tagged, and replenished on time. Guide and support floor staff to provide excellent customer service. Address and resolve customer queries/complaints related to the department. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the warehouse team for stock replenishment. Maintain cleanliness, visual merchandising, and department layout standards. Support promotional activities and in-store marketing campaigns. Prepare sales reports and update department performance for management review. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and operational guidelines.

Requirements

Graduate in any discipline (preferred in Retail/Business Management). 1-3 years of experience in retail floor operations (non-core department preferred). Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of visual merchandising and stock management. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
