Job Summary:
The Store/Floor/Department Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, sales performance, team management, and customer service in the electronics section of a retail store. This role ensures smooth operations, effective merchandising, compliance with company policies, and achievement of sales targets. The manager is also responsible for maintaining a high level of product knowledge to support both staff training and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Management
Oversee the daily operations of the electronics department/floor/store.
Ensure product availability, accurate pricing, and effective visual merchandising.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to replenish as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales area according to company standards.
Sales & Customer Service
Drive sales through effective team management, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Handle complex customer queries and resolve complaints in a timely, professional manner.
Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service and maintains a customer-focused environment.
Team Leadership & Training
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates and support staff.
Create staff schedules to ensure adequate floor coverage.
Conduct regular training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
Perform performance reviews, provide coaching, and handle disciplinary actions if necessary.
Merchandising & Inventory
Coordinate with visual merchandisers to maintain attractive product displays.
Track and manage inventory, minimize shrinkage, and conduct regular stock audits.
Ensure all products are properly labeled with correct pricing and specifications.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and staff performance.
Submit reports to senior management as required (e.g., sales performance, inventory reports).
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in electronics or consumer technology.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in retail management software (POS systems, inventory tools, etc.).
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
