Job Description

A Floor Manager in a jewelry store is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales. They also handle inventory management, maintain store appearance, and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and store performance. Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Supervising and managing sales staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

Customer Service:

Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, handling inquiries and complaints, and resolving issues.

Sales Management:

Meeting or exceeding sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and analyzing sales performance.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining proper stock levels, managing inventory flow, and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Store Operations:

Ensuring a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing store environment, including product displays and merchandising.

Security:

Implementing and enforcing security procedures to protect valuable merchandise.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Reporting:

Reporting on sales performance, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics.

Promotional Activities:

Implementing sales and promotional strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.
Additional Responsibilities:

Training:

Conducting regular staff training and development programs on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.

Inventory Audits:

Conducting surprise audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.

Communication:

Communicating with other departments, such as purchasing and merchandising, to ensure smooth operations.

Problem Solving:

Investigating issues on the sales floor and coordinating with supervisors to resolve them.

Customer Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with customers, including following up on inquiries and complaints.
