Job Description

We are seeking a floor managerwho would oversee the daily operations of the showroom floor, ensuring smooth sales operations, customer satisfaction, staff performance, and adherence to company standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the brand image, managing the team, and driving sales targets within the jewellery retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Sales & Customer Service

:

Supervise and guide floor sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Handle high-value clients and complex customer queries or complaints. Promote up-selling and cross-selling techniques.

2. Staff Management

:

Lead, train, and motivate the showroom staff. Assign sales targets, monitor performance, and conduct periodic evaluations. Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.

3. Showroom Operations

:

Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the showroom is clean and presentable. Oversee stock movement, inventory control, and display of jewellery items. Ensure accurate billing and compliance with company SOPs.

4. Security & Compliance

:

Monitor adherence to safety and security protocols, especially for high-value items. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in jewellery handling (e.g., hallmarking, certifications). Coordinate with the security team for surveillance and loss prevention.

5. Reporting & Coordination

:

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports. Communicate feedback and improvement areas to senior management. Coordinate with the back office, accounts, and procurement teams for seamless operations.

:

Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of gold, diamond, and other precious jewellery Sales-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills Attention to detail and integrity in high-value transactions Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Experience Required

:

3-5 years

in retail/jewellery management preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
