Job Summary:

The Floor Manager is responsible for the smooth, efficient day-to-day operation of the hospital. This role oversees the coordination between nursing staff, patient care services, and allied departments to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The Floor Manager acts as a liaison between patients, families, hospital staff, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff, housekeeping, support staff, and other floor personnel. Ensure all patients receive timely, safe, and compassionate care. Monitor patient flow including admissions, discharges, and transfers; coordinate bed allocation effectively. Address and resolve patient or family concerns with professionalism and empathy. Ensure staff adherence to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness. Lead or assist during emergency codes and ensure compliance with hospital emergency protocols.
