Job Description

Production Planning & Scheduling:

Analyze style construction for upcoming orders and plan daily production outputs. Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure adherence to newly released orders and output plans.

Line Balancing:

Adjusting line operator and allocate and "clubbing" operations to remove bottlenecks.

Line Setting:

Organize the sewing sequence for new orders, allocating operators to specific machines and providing technical instructions on stitching methods.

Target Management:

Set daily production targets for teams and individual operators to meet delivery deadlines.

Quality and Compliance

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular in-line and off-line inspections to ensure garments meet strict quality tolerances. Identify and correct the causes of poor work quickly to reduce quality costs.

Stitching Alterations:

Manage the rework process for defective garments, ensuring seams are repaired or fabric parts are replaced as needed.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce factory safety protocols and ensure all machinery is in safe working order.

People Management

Skill Inventory & Training:

Maintain an up-to-date inventory of operator skills and implement training plans to improve efficiency and versatility.

Recruitment & Discipline:

Assist in recruiting and testing new operators and managing floor discipline, including handling absenteeism and lateness.

Worker Welfare:

Devote time to building relationships and addressing the personal and professional problems of the team to maintain a healthy work environment.

Technical and Administrative Duties

Inventory & Resource Management:

Monitor and order necessary consumables such as thread, trimmings, needles, and bobbins.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the repair and replacement of sewing equipment and coordinate with maintenance teams for machine breakdowns.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
